Special Events & Films.

Step Up Security have recently finished providing services for a film called Millions by Frank Cottrel Boyce. Millions was shot at various locations around the Northwest. The film was produced for Cinema release by Pathe films.

This was a massive project for Step up Security to take on in some of the most troublesome areas of the northwest not only was the areas a potential problem but the sheer amount of staff working on and off set was a challenge to monitor. We feel the next film or special event we are asked to do we would definitely recommend an on site full time Security Advisor, not only for liaison with our own Personnel but also for staff.
Step up Security rose to the new challenge and successfully carried out their duties and would relish the opportunity to do a similar project. As a result of the Millions project we are negotiating and advising a local authority for a coming special event, which will hold up to 10,000 people.
We have also supplied services to Auctions, Hotels, Radio shows and even the switching on of the Christmas lights in a City Centre.

Hospitals & Schools.

The need for Hospital and School Security has never been so great, with alarming rise in assaults on Staff and patients and a dramatic increase of sexual assault and rape.

Hospitals and schools by their very nature can be very difficult to secure. Patients, pupils and staff need 24hour access to many parts of the premises. Because of the vast amount of new faces visiting schools / Hospitals, some criminals take advantage of this opportunity to commit crimes. Step up Security Personnel are highly motivated and trained to seek out and approach any visitors to any premises in a courteous but stern and professional manner. With a quality professional back up team on hand linked by radio we can substantially minimise risk to premises, staff, pupils and patients.

Some of the courses our staff are trained in are Traffic Management, Health & Safety,
First Aid, Anger Management. Fire Fighting and Prevention, Handling Hazardous Chemicals and many more.
